ICD 705 / SCIF Security Integration — Built to the Construction Spec
Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) are built and accredited to ICD 705 and its technical specification. The electronic security inside — intrusion detection, access control, and acoustic protection — must meet the standard and be documented for the accrediting official.
Intrusion detection to UL 2050
SCIF intrusion detection systems are installed and certificated to UL 2050 (National Industrial Security Systems), with balanced magnetic switches, motion detection, tamper protection and defined response via a UL 2050-certificated monitoring station.
Access, acoustics and TEMPEST coordination
Access control restricts and logs entry to the space; acoustic protection meets the sound-group requirement; and where applicable we coordinate the TEMPEST/RF posture with the certified TEMPEST authority. All of it is documented for the accreditation package.
