The contract vehicle decides how fast you can buy, how defensible the purchase is, and whether compliance is built into the terms. For physical security, a handful of vehicles cover almost everything.
Federal
- GSA MAS — the pre-negotiated federal catalog, with TAA built into the terms. Good default for federal buys.
- NASA SEWP — a government-wide IT/AV contract known for low fees and fast quote turnaround.
State, local & education (cooperatives)
Cooperatives let public agencies buy off competitively-solicited contracts without running their own RFP:
- OMNIA Partners, Sourcewell, NASPO ValuePoint, TIPS
Each has its own membership and eligibility rules, but the effect is the same: a quick, defensible path with a compliant integrator.
