The challenge
Most access control in the field is a decade behind the threat: 125 kHz prox cards that copy at a kiosk, Wiegand wiring an attacker can tap behind the reader, and panels that can't support modern credentials or federal PIV. Ripping it all out overnight isn't realistic — and much of the old gear isn't acquisition-compliant either.

Do we have to replace everything at once?
No. We install multi-technology readers that accept both your existing prox cards and new encrypted credentials, then migrate users in waves — so nobody is locked out during the transition.
Can you support federal PIV / HSPD-12?
Yes. We integrate FIPS-201 PIV credentials and PACS for federal facilities, aligned to HSPD-12 and FICAM.
Why move off Wiegand to OSDP?
Wiegand sends credential data unencrypted between the reader and panel — tappable behind the reader. OSDP closes that with encrypted, supervised communication.
