U.S. Navy Historic Campus: Discreet Video, Talk-Down Audio & FICAM Access (Rhode Island)
Axis cameras + network audio for live talk-down, LenelS2 OnGuard FICAM/PIV access, and DMP alarm — installed without marring protected architecture.
Client: U.S. Navy historic campus (location withheld for security). Representative engagement — details anonymized for operational security.
The challenge
A historic Navy campus with protected architecture needed discreet surveillance, live audio talk-down at gates and parking, FICAM/PIV building access, and after-hours intrusion — all without surface conduit or anything that would mar historic facades.
Our approach
We used compact, color-matched Axis network cameras and Axis network audio so security operators can issue live talk-down warnings at gates and parking areas — proactive deterrence, not just after-the-fact footage.
LenelS2 OnGuard delivered FICAM/PIV-compliant access control across the campus, and a DMP alarm system covered after-hours intrusion.
Genetec unified video, access and audio into one operation, and we routed cabling through existing pathways with low-impact methods to protect the historic structures.
